arpeggio music school
As the designated City of Music, it is rather unfortunate that Bandung has yet to have its own intentionally designed facility for musical education. This project aims to not only provide said educational facility, but also to help with the process of education. This is done by initiating interest in the students when they explore the school: it provides spaces for them to reflect, study and perform their music live either alone or with others.

The main feature of this facility is the amphitheater, which united the entire complex and provided a place that can be enjoyed by not only the school members but also the surrounding communities. It features a public stage, reflecting pools and a musical garden to educate members of the community on music, even if they don't necessarily enroll in the school. The atmosphere is enhanced with the view to the river and its promenade that connects the communities behind the school to the main street.

The school's main facilities are private classes, ensemble classes and an auditorium. Most of these facilities are designed to maximize sound quality inside and block all noise from outside as well as maintain privacy, while also letting natural light in.

Other facilities in the school include an audio library, a cafe and a lobby. These facilities are designed in note of the concept of progressive learning. This meant that the school's environment is meant to reinvigorate, inspire and entice the students to absorb and enjoy themselves in the allure of music.
